LISA'S JOURNEY
In 2019, Lisa Fosnough was a 48-year-old wife and mother of three. She ran five marathons and multiple half marathons and competed in CrossFit competitions. On June 28th, 2019, she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, which is a cancerous tumor that was located in her right femur and surrounding muscle. She immediately went through four months of chemo.
On Dec 5th, 2019 she had a 12-hour surgery to remove nine inches of her femur and 65% of her quadricep muscle. She has now been cancer-free for over 5 years. Her Doctors attribute her successful surgery and recovery to her pre-operative overall physical fitness.
Lisa’s goal in forming this charity is to raise money and increase awareness of sarcoma cancer, and the importance of physical & mental health, and the power of positivity.

We believe everyone can embrace their challenges,
and define their future with community support.
